Dark Earth Carbon is a company that aims to reverse climate change by producing biochar, a type of charcoal that can sequester carbon and improve soil health. The company works with smallholder farmers in Africa, who can benefit from biochar application by increasing their crop yields, income, and resilience to drought and famine. We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined individual to join our team as a Junior Technical Operator. This role offers an exciting opportunity for growth and hands-on experience in biochar industry. Carbon Tanzania occupies a unique position in the conservation world in East Africa. A social enterprise at heart, we seek to reframe the way people view and utilise natural landscapes. Our pioneering business approach ensures that value is realised through a network of stakeholders, from the forest communities themselves through to the companies and individuals providing the finance.
