Afya Plus specializes in designing and implementing integrated and client-centered health programs; community based and social and behavior change (SBC) interventions to increase the demand for and use of quality integrated health services. We foster data driven programming and we have mainstreamed tailored SBC approaches in our programs to implement culturally appropriate interventions that promote equitable access to, and utilization of a range of health services while addressing associated barriers, and other community specific needs. Mission, to support building and strengthening of resilient and sustainable health systems that promote equal access to quality, integrated, and people-centered health services through working in partnership with the Government, local communities, and other key stakeholders. We understand the unique health needs of the communities we operate in and strive to provide effective and sustainable solutions. Currently, we mainly operate in four regions of Tanzania Shinyanga, Simiyu, Mara and Geita, where we have deep knowledge of the local health needs and challenges. We take a client-centered approach to our work, putting the needs and preferences of the people we serve at the center of everything we do and working closely with the communities to create programs that are tailored to their specific needs. We strive to make a real and measurable impact on the health of the communities we serve.
