The University of Dodoma (UDOM) is a public university located in the city of Dodoma, Tanzania. The university was established in 2007 through the University of Dodoma Act and began operations in 2008. The establishment of UDOM was part of Tanzania’s efforts to address the challenges of education and development in the country, particularly in the central region where Dodoma is located.
